Learn MoreBoard of Directors Election Voting is now OPEN until December 31st, 2024.
Chapters are formed via application to the national NNCA organization. Each Chapter must develop one of the following that must conform to those of NNCA:
a) Charter or b) Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws or, c) Articles of Association or d) Identify sources of income and nature of expenditures
Their purpose, bylaws and policies must not conflict with those of the NNCA or those relevant statutes of the State of Washington or other laws (where the NNCA was incorporated).
Chapters were formed because NNCA members chose to create local or regional opportunities for engagement, camaraderie and activities.
Chapters are an important and dynamic part of the NNCA’s mission. These organizations vary in size and are often responsible for the feet-on-the-ground work that is done by the NNCA membership. Many of the Chapters award scholarships to graduate and nursing students. Others interface with partners, such as NNCA-sponsored DAISY Awards, Warrior Canine Connection namesake program, Wreaths Across America, etc. Most Chapters engage in activities such as luncheons, speaker engagements, veteran support activities and more. Take a look at our Chapters and consider joining one!
NNCA is a national membership organization. Members of this national organization may or may not be affiliated with a Chapter, but all Chapter members must be members of the national organization.
The NNCA promotes undergraduate and graduate nursing education. Several NNCA Chapters offer nursing scholarships. There is no obligation incurred by the recipient of an NNCA scholarship.

Coming Soon! The NNCA is developing a plan that will provide an equivalent community to members who do not live in close proximity to an organized Chapter.
