4 small pictures (from photo album) nurses on the USHS Benevolence leaving Japan (had been there to receive POW’s in prisoned in Japan) for US. “A” is a group of nine nurses and one male standing on deck of ship. Most of the group is behind a white picket fence. Sign says “unauthorized personnell keep out” The only nurse identified is Ouida Upchurch (L) in lower front. “B” Mary A. Bivens (Layne) on ship. “C” 5 nurses standing on deck of ship. Only one identified is Madge Crouch on (R) “D” 5 nurses on deck of ship. Mary Price on (L) Ouida Upchurch next to Price.
