Personal historical account of 32 Navy Nurses, 300 Army Nurses, Red Cross Staff and 8000 Troops on the US Monticello, a converted Italian luxury liner, to Milne Bay, New Guinea and Australia, the Brisbane Base Hospital. The First Twenty Navy Nurses at Base Hospital #13, served 7 months then up island to Austraila as replacements arrive. (Jan 1944).
