a) Navy Nurse Corps female white dress uniform jacket, single breasted with white Lieutenant insignia stripes on sleeves and yellow (not gold) embroidered Nurse Corps device above stripes. Size 12. The white stripes were adopted for all women officers in 1948 and in 1950 the sleeve stripes and insignia were changed to gold. So this uniform is rather unique. b) Navy Nurse Dress uniform skirt, white. Size 12R. Two front pockets with a zipper and button closure on the side.
