BW. Freed Navy Nurses in Army uniforms’, (the Army nurses on Leyte gave them uniforms to wear until they arrived in Hawaii) arrive ar Pearl Harbor on March 6 1945. Between Mary Rose Harrington Nelson and Laura Cobb, Capt Cramer CO Naval Hospital Canaco up throught mid 1941. L to R: Mary Chapman, civilian Stewart, civilian Davis, Mary Benner Chief Nurse at Hospital, Dewina Todd, Dorothy Still Danner, Mary Rose Harrington Nelson, Laura Cobb, Margaret Nash, Eldene Paige, civilian Grant. in far back , Bertha Evans St Pierre, Helen Gorzelanski. On right at end is a staff nurse. One POW appears to be missing in photo.
