First Christmas at Aeia hospital after the Pearl Harbor bombing 1942. My operating corpsman brought in the only Christmas tree in the hospital so the operating room was the refreshment center for sections from the entire hospital. All paitents bedside tables were decorated with sugar cane tassels. Christmas trees arrived the day after New Years.
