Chapter Mission/Projects:  The Mission of the NWNNCA chapter is to facilitate information sharing, socialization, and camaraderie among local Navy Nurses. Chapter projects include fund raising, selection of nursing school scholarship recipients and selection of outstanding graduating NROTC nursing students.

NWNNCA Chapter ByLaws

Membership:  NWNNCA is open to all Navy Nurses, active and former active duty, retired, and reserve.  Potential members include nurses from the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.  There are 49 active NWNNCA members.  The Board of Directors meets biannually in the summer and winter months.  Any member may volunteer to be on the board.  Board members are elected by the membership during the fall meeting.  Officers are then selected from the members of the board.

Meetings:  Two luncheon meetings are held twice a year in  April and October. The specifics of each meeting are posted in the newsletter sent out to NWNNCA members in March and September.

Chapter Dues:  NWNNCA membership dues are $10 per year and may be paid with the annual NNCA dues each Spring.

NWNNCA 2022 Scholarships:  The Northwest Navy Nurse Corps Association is offering a $1500 scholarship to a student in a BSN program who will graduate between December 2022 and August 2023.  The school of nursing must be located in one of the following states:  Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington.  Completed applications are due no later than 15 June 2022.
