History
The Palmetto Chapter was established in July 1991. The Board of Directors is composed of 4 officers and 3 directors who are elected from the general membership.
Mission
To provide support of the NNCA and a social forum for information sharing and networking. Provide support to local VA Medical Center facility and Charleston Annual Veteran’s Day Parade.
Projects and Engagement
- Two meetings are held each year (April and October).
- Meeting details are published in the White Shoe Times newsletter, sent to members in March and September.
- Contributions are typically donated to a charity during the holiday season.
Chapter Membership
NNCA is a national membership organization. Members of this national organization may or may not be affiliated with a Chapter, but all Chapter members must be members of the national organization.
Membership is open to all Navy nurses (active duty, active reserve, retired, and retired reserve, and former active and reserve nurses with an honorable discharge) living or working in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
In order to join a NNCA Chapter, you must also be a member of the national NNCA.
