Mid-South Navy Nurse Corps Association
Mid-South (Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and contiguous areas of neighboring states)
History
On March 13, 2010, in Nashville, TN, a chapter formation committee was established. Individuals who were instrumental in laying the groundwork for this Chapter were Bobbie Clinton, Tish Breeding, and Bonnie McClure. The Chapter has grown with each passing year and welcomes new members and visitors at every meeting. In April 2011, the NNCA Board of Directors officially recognized the MSNNCA Chapter.
Projects and Engagement
- The chapter holds three general meetings each year in spring, summer, and fall. Because of the large area encompassed, meeting sites are rotated at the discretion of membership.
- Our main activities include social networking at meetings, attention to the needs of members, and support of the NNCA.
Chapter Membership
NNCA is a national membership organization. Members of this national organization may or may not be affiliated with a Chapter, but all Chapter members must be members of the national organization.
Membership is open to all Navy nurses (active duty, active reserve, retired, and retired reserve, and former active and reserve nurses with an honorable discharge) living or working in the Mid-South (Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and contiguous areas of neighboring states)
In order to join a NNCA Chapter, you must also be a member of the national NNCA.
